With the support of the Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ) of the Macao SAR Government, an information session on Tencent’s internship programme for students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, was held at Ma Man Kei and Lo Pak Sam College (MLC) of the University of Macau (UM) on 31 March 2025. The event, organised by the Tencent Youth Development Committee, attracted many students to learn about Tencent’s internship opportunities and application process.

The event was also attended by Chan Iok Wai, chief of the Department of Students of DSEDJ, and Yang Liu, college master of MLC. During the event, representatives from Tencent gave a detailed overview of the programme’s objectives and participation methods. Students actively asked questions and engaged in in-depth discussions with the speakers. In his closing remarks, Chan encouraged the students to seize the opportunity and apply for the programme.

The information session not only enhanced the students’ understanding of the programme, but also sparked their interest in the technology industry. Many students expressed their commitment to improving their professional skills and contributing to technological innovation.
