A group of 30 students and faculty from Lui Che Woo College (LCWC) of the University of Macau (UM) attended the Global Tourism Economy Forum (GTEF) 2023 held at the Galaxy International Convention Center. During the event, LCWC members held in-depth discussions on topics revolved around the theme of GTEF 2023—‘Destination 2030: Unlocking the Power of Tourism for Business and Development’. The event provided an excellent opportunity for the students to experience the atmosphere of a large-scale international conference and learn more about the tourism economy around the world. In addition, the students also gained an insight into China’s important role in global tourism.
